Artwork is what makes your product visually yours. At Borney UK we take great care to ensure your artwork is tailored to your brand and suitable for print.

All supplied print ready artwork will be checked and you we’ll send you an artwork proof free of charge after order confirmation. If you need a design creating, or you have an artwork that requires some alterations, our in-house design team are always here to help and offer very competitive prices. When supplying print ready artwork, logos or images, here’s our list of DO’S & DON’TS for the best results.


DO’S

file-01Supply files as vector PDF, AI or EPS.

template-01
Request artwork templates for any of our products.

pantone-01>
Use Pantone ® & CMYK colours for optimum colour matching.

text-01
Convert all text to outlines, or supply us with the fonts if you’re unsure.

scale-01
Supply all artwork at 100% scale. If not, 10% scale. It avoids confusion.

size-01
Use metric measurements such as mm, cm, metres.

quality-01
Supply all raster images at 150dpi or higher for good print quality.

spelling-01
Check all spelling & grammar. We may not know the terminology in your industry.


DON’TS

file-01Don’t supply Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, or any filetypes other than PDF, AI, or EPS.

pantone-01
Don’t supply RGB files. Colours may print differently to how they appear on screen.

copy-01
Don’t copy images from websites unless you’re confident they are 150dpi or higher.

text-01
Don’t leave the text editable. This creates the risk of your fonts and text changing.

size-01
Don’t use inches or feet, as modern print technology works in metric.
